Drivers Score Big with CSA Change

From now on, drivers or carriers that receive a dismissed or "not guilty" ruling after getting a traffic violation will no longer have to worry about it affecting their CSA scores. In rare occurrence, this industry change will actually be beneficial to drivers and their future.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has announced that the changes made to its data collection system have gone into affect. Now, its Motor Carrier Management Information System can remove violations if they were dismissed or ruled "not guilty".  The citations must be issued after Aug. 23, 3014 to qualify for removal. 

Not only does this help drivers' CSA scores, but also allows the CSA to better understand and measure the safety of the roads. Below is a photo of how the changes will work:
